Antonia Lofaso
The culinary offerings of Chef Antonia is an invitation for customers to dive into the depths. Her food comes from her fascination with the cultural aspects that is Los Angeles, which was sparked by a trip in Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Carnitas and Cavatellis within the same menu is her belief. All of her meals she draws a picture that is distinct and speaks to a longing for the historical. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant which was established by Lofaso in 2013. The restaurant was opened by her due to her American-born Italian heritage. Lofaso has received praise for her interpretation of traditional Italian food. Lofaso has been consistently loved by the Scopa's customers for its food, which is authentic and unmistakably enjoyable. Lofaso worked as an apprentice chef to master chefs learning their methods and taking chances. She did not hesitate to do so to follow her instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago before moving on to work closely with famous chefs in a variety of Los Angeles kitchens. In 2011, Lofaso joined forces along with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to debut Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Lofaso found her place within Black Market, and through the partnerships that she created. Lofaso could find the space to be creative that she longed for through this partnership. Black Market has no one direction in mind and is the same way. The course could begin with dill potatoes chips as well as shishito chillies, then move on to the Korean chicken dish, meatballs and wings. What anchors this bold array of flavors is Antonia. Lofaso evaluated her career success in part by her ability to be able to comprehend and appear real to her viewers. Her unforgettable performance in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars celebrated her uniqueness outside of the kitchen. Her talents remain in the spotlight of the camera as a judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup as well as in recurring roles on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso has released her book, The Busy Mother's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious Recipes, in 2012, with Penguin. It also told the story of her challenges during her time in The French Culinary Institute. She was raising her daughter Xea, as well. Lofaso insists that the drive that drives her success comes from the heart of the kitchen, and it's through this vein that she continues to have an eye on the pulse. She is revolutionizing her industry's design by creating chef's wear to be functional and stylish by launching her brand Chefletics. The main goal of Lofaso is to remain in line with her mission. To achieve this goal, she launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. This gives customers the most personal service.
