Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often referred to as Rihanna by Barbadians is a songwriter and singer. Her most popular songs are Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. A very successful artist still in the prime of her young age, she's sold over the sum of 41 million album and over 150 million tracks worldwide becoming one of the best-selling artists of all time. Her parents were born in Barbados She began singing at a young age. Due to the chaos that surrounded her family and the fights her parents were having, she decided to take up music. Soon she decided she wanted to pursue a career as a singer. The group she formed was a musical one as a teenager and was able to have take part in an audition for music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly amazed by her talent. The singer relocated from the United States to New York so that she could begin her singing career. Rihanna's debut album soon went viral and she was called the next big thing in music. The young people loved her upbeat songs, which encouraged Rihanna's to produce movies. Young and talented, Rihanna has been viewed as a teenage idol and fashion icon. Rihanna is also putting her fame to good use and is active in a variety of charities.
