Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero, an American actress and singer has been a model for a while. Kotero was the female lead performer for Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. Apollonia was a performer/singer born to Prince in 1984 was one of the many female musicians of the 80s who benefited from Prince. Patricia Kotero was born in Santa Monica, California in 1959. Her career started with modeling in the latter part of 1970. She also was a guest on CHiPS. In 1984, the actress was a part of the main actress in Prince's Purple Rain. (During this period, she also changed her name.) She then replaced Vanity of the female group Vanity 6 who starred in the film with Apollonia 6 under their name. She made more of an impression on the charts when she was Prince's partner on Take Me with You, which was a duet in the soundtrack. Kotero ended her relationship with Prince when they fell apart over the direction of Apollonia 6. She was in a number of smaller films, like Purple Rain's sequel Under the Cherry Moon (which she declined), and then landed the part of Falcon Crest on the Night-Time Drama Falcon Crest from 1985-1986. Apollonia's debut album debuted in 1988. But the R&B/dance songs were not a huge hit by those who bought music. It soon disappeared. Through the years, she remained an active actor, with a few film appearances and small TV shows. Apollonia made a bilingual CD called Stay with Me in 1997. The singer returned to the university where she received her diploma in filmmaking. Then she founded her firm and began working as a child's TV host. Apollonia holds a number of jobs. She was an actress, singer, and model. Purple Rain, the 1984 film that she was in, is her most famous part. Her other films and television shows include Black Magic Woman, The Divorce Ceremony and many others. Kotero debuted her career as a model. She was involved in various contests. Kotero won the title of Miss San Pedro Beauty Pageant. Her acting career started in the mid-80s. Apollonia Kotero (born in New York City) is an American actress, performer and model. Apart from Purple Rain she also appeared in other movies. Her popular films are Back To Back Black Magic Woman La Donna di una Sera and Cattive Ragazze. Kotero is also an entrepreneur who created Kotero Entertainment which is a multi-media entertainment company.
