Mary McCormack was an American actress who is famous for her portrayals as the lead character in TV programs like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. McCormack is a native of Connecticut, born into a family that had no connection to entertainment in any way to her family tree, was the daughter of a clinical therapy professional and an owner of an Ice Cream Parlor. She attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce of her parents in the year 1990 then went on to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, eventually graduating with a BA degree in the field of comparative arts. At the age of 12 when she began her stage career, it started by performing in "Amahl as well as the Night Visitors", a holiday opera. The actress continued to perform in theatre and ultimately bagged roles on both the smaller and big screens. Nowadays, McCormack is recognized as one of the most flexible artistes in Hollywood.
