Melissa Oneil

MelissaMelissa Crystal O'Neil was born on July 12, 1988[1].] She is a Canadian actress and singer. O'Neil was the first Canadian female winner of Canadian Idol's 3rd season won it in 2005. O'Neil is well-known for her performances on Syfy's science fiction series Dark Matter. O'Neil was well-known for her role in The Rookie as Officer Lucy Chen. O'Neil was voted as being in the bottom two or three finals. After being stunned, judges recommended that viewers vote for Melissa O'Neil, who was clearly the most enthusiastic contestant. O'Neil's performances were always praised and O'Neil did not slip back into the bottom three. Zack Werner, the judge, called O'Neil "a chance to win everything". O'Neil, along with Rex Goudie, made it to the finals on September 7 the 7th of September, 2005. Werner, a judge, famously declared that the headlines for the following day's news will be "The King [Kalan Porter] is dead. The Queen will live forever." O'Neil defeated Goudie in the grand final results showon the 14th of September in 2005. She also was crowned the third Canadian Idol and the first female winner.
